Detailed descriptions of Camassistance activities:


1. Promote HIV/AIDS , Infectious and neglected diseases awareness in Africa (30% of the organization total time): this activity will be conducted once a year in a selected country after reviewing the center of disease control epidemiological sheet for Africa, concerning the morbidity and mortality rate .we will identified a collaboration with a local centre of infectious diseases control to understand the need, and by providing lectures and technical skills .the lecture will be given by a professional, academic or researcher volunteer interested in the field of infectious neglected diseases and HIV/AIDS. The lecture may be given either during a field visit or via a video conference from our headquarter in California.


2. Conduct integrated training for community-based healthcare workers (10% of the organization total time): considering the fact that our main goal is to help ameliorate the quality of life of the person living with the named diseases and for those of peoples living with them, it is therefore very important that the person providing the care on the day to day basis to theses peoples being well trained. In that respect, we are planning to identify community based care providers groups or organizations and train them so that they can have enough knowledge to face the challenge of their daily work. The developed training will be organized by Camassistance and the trainers may be all volunteers professionals willing to devote a part of their time to help people living with HIV/AIDS and neglected infectious diseases in Africa.


3. Support Orphan Education and Expand youth Education Network(20% of the organization total time): to date there are about 9000 000(nine millions) orphans due to AIDS in Africa. These children whose parents died from the infection are often stigmatized, marginalized and traumatized and rejected from the society where they lived and therefore totally vulnerable. They are either under or not educated at all. We have found that by taking care of the quality of these children’s education, we can not only help them being integrated in the society, but also having a good education. to realized this , we have identified orphanage in different country where we are planning to provide a quality training and seminar to the peoples in charge of theses facilities. Our is to identified volunteers, willing to dedicate part of their time for these purpose and we will facilitate the accommodations and the learning material for these orphanages (e.g Books,etc ...)


4. Develop information Networks and operate twinning programs (10% of the organization total time): to achieve this goal, we have to identified in the field a non for profit organizations, and paired with them .this will help us being more operative and directed to the population really in need of our support. This will be made in the constant basis.


5. Provide technical and financial assistance for the target population (15% of the organization total time): This aspect of our activity will depend on our possibilities. For the technical support, whenever we identified a field based organization devoted to the care of peoples living with HIV/AIDS or others infectious diseases and in need of our technical support(teaching,counseilling,caring,educating,etc ...) we will ask to our volunteers to help with that and in the help(material,technical or financial )will be directed first and exclusively to the peoples suffering and struggling with the HIV/AIDS and the Infectious neglected diseases, to ease their day to day live.(antiretroviral and other anti infectious diseases therapy, food, clothes, shelter, etc ...)


6. Maintain community resources and research centers all over the counties in Africa(15% of the organization total time ).we hypothesized that the best way to helped the world eradicate HIV/AIDS and infectious diseases is to promote research. In that respect, Camassistance is willing to create SCIENTIFIC collaboration with locals research institutes working in the field of neglected infectious diseases and HIV/AIDS to help create a vaccine for HIV and eradicate diseases like Tuberculosis,lepra,malaria,etc….to do so, we will identified volunteers researchers interested to devote part of their time, knowledge and techniques.


7. Beneficiary of the activities are: patients living with HIV/AIDS or neglected infectious diseases, orphans of AIDS, family of those patients and orphans. And the entire Humanity.


8. The activities will be conducted on the ground by volunteers specialist in the field of tropical and infectious diseases.
